EVOLINK 1.4
10 Year Anniversary SALE
EVOLINK 1.4
Updated and refined, the Evolink 1.4 retains the same fundamental Pole Bicycles ethos and remains very much long, slack, and agile.
Using a 210x55mm Metric shock, we’ve not only made the suspension leverage ratio more progressive in the mid-stroke but increased the rear-wheel travel to 144mm.
The Evolink still has a slack 64.5°head angle matched with a seat tube angle of 77.6° (79.9° effective) to create a much more capable riding position that gets you up the hill and back down again fast!
We also increased the bottom bracket height from -20mm to -3mm. Increasing the BB height has made the bike more maneuverable, fast, and versatile all whilst making cornering easier.
The Evolink 1.4 also runs completely external cable routing for a cleaner look and usability.

New Industry Standard
Evolink is our award-winning benchmark for the mountain biking industry. Launched in 2016, the bike was born of frustration at an industry that only ever made incremental changes to bike design every year. We took on the challenge of creating a bike to fit a growing need and created the ‘new school’ geometry, using original insight into how a mountain bike should be ridden up and down the mountain.
More travel
Using a 210x55mm Metric shock, we’ve not only made the suspension leverage ratio more progressive in the mid-stroke but increased the rear-wheel travel to 144mm.
Bigger is better
A slack head angle, steep seat tube angle, and generous reach give the rider the optimum riding position whilst riding on the trail. Combined with 29″ wheels that give you the edge in performance over tough terrain.
Performance and reliability
dependable quality
All Evolink frames are made from 7005 aluminum with parts chosen from industry leaders in component manufacturing.
Our strict testing in the most demanding conditions makes sure that you don’t need to use your valuable time and money to figure out which wheelset works the best. The bikes are tested on rooty and technical trails, rough rock gardens, muddy conditions, hot sandy trails, and icy sub-zero temperatures to make sure that all the parts meet the highest demands.
Pole Evolink was also awarded the Design and Innovation Award.

EVOLINK SIZING
On a bike with such progressive geometry, the question of best sizing is one that we get asked a lot. So, we decided to updated our size naming convention. Instead of S, M, L, and XL we’ve replaced it K1, K2, K3, and K4 (the K stands for Koko, which means size in Finnish)
Taking into consideration height crossovers, we have created a size chart matrix that not only covers the rider’s height but incorporates your riding style too. The result is a simple way for you to best choose the bike size to fit their needs.
For example, if you are 182cm tall and prefer a bike for all-out speed, we would suggest the size K3. If you spend more time at the bike park or prefer a more agile riding style, take the size K2 – you’re welcome!

Evolink Reviews
Design and Innovation award 2017
The Pole simplifies the act of riding over burly ground: firstly by dishing out stability and confidence to less advanced riders; and secondly by giving avid riders a tool to unlock faster speeds. Essentially an outstanding bike that throws up questions about geometry standards – the Pole is a bike that everyone should ride!”
EVOLINK 140 review by Pinkbike
“The Pole is the first bike to take extremely modern geometry numbers to mass production. If you want to have a safe and easy ride on challenging terrain or go faster than all your buddies, this is your choice.”
EVOLINK 140 review by BikeRadar
“Versatile, stable, fast and fun. Pointed up or down hills, it tackles steep and technical terrain like almost nothing else can. Buy if, You want a long and slack 29er that’s fast and fun whether going up or downhill.”
