Hardtail | Chromoly Steel | 29″ / 27,5″+
Taival is the Pole’s statement to hardcore hardtail mountain bikes. It’s made from high modulus Chromoly steel. The geometry follows Pole’s original long and slack design.
Somehow, the Taival is greater than the sum of its parts; the compliant rear end combined with the balanced and stable riding position allows you to forget that you’re on a hardtail and ride lines as you would on your ‘big’ bike. The Pole Taival is the hardcore hardtail for riders who want to ride on the red line at all times. – ENDURO Mountainbike Magazine
This bike can be built with high-end or entry-level parts to fit any riding style. Taival is the one bike that you will choose when you need a reliable frame that keeps its value and changes to your style through time.
It’s soo good, I’ve never had a hardcore hardtail before, but this has opened up a lot of opportunities for me, I have been using it to ride to trails even further away from home, sometimes stopping at a pump track or jump spot on route, and because it is made from steel tubing it’s very comfortable for all-day missions. I’m a big fan, and although I’m itching to get back racing, I’m also itching to get out on this and explore some more hidden gems at home. – Leigh Johnson
On a bike with such progressive geometry, the question of best sizing is one that we get asked a lot. So, we decided to updated our size naming convention. Instead of XS, S, M, L, and XL we’ve replaced it K0, K1, K2, K3, and K4 (the K stands for Koko, which means size in Finnish)
Taking into consideration height crossovers, we have created a size chart matrix that not only covers the rider’s height but incorporates your riding style too. The result is a simple way for you to best choose the bike size to fit their needs – you’re welcome.
For example, if you are 182cm tall and prefer a bike for all-out speed, we would suggest the size K3. If you spend more time at the bike park or prefer a more agile riding style, take the size K2.
