Leo Kokkonen started Pole because no production bike offered the geometry he wanted to ride: slacker and longer, and more stable at speed.
Today we build the Hiisi to order and work through the fit and components with each rider.

The mule
Pole starts in a bakery basement in Jyväskylä. The numbers were wrong by every standard of the time, and right on the trail.
Evolink
64.5° head angle, 77.5° seat tube. The geometry that changed the conversation, years before the industry followed.
Machine & the carbon decision
After years of rejecting carbon fibre, Leo figured out how to machine and bond a hollow aluminium frame. The process had to be invented.
Stamina
A gravity-enduro platform designed from scratch in under six weeks. Two race-proven CNC platforms, and a factory team to prove them.
World stage
Leigh Johnson finishes 9th overall in the Enduro World Series on a Stamina, a Finnish factory brand against the best-funded teams.
Voima
Our first e-MTB, launched during a global component shortage. It sold more in two weeks than the entire previous year.

Over 400 Voimas delivered. Leigh Johnson finishes 3rd overall in EWS-E.
Onni & Sonni
Modular frame architecture: one platform, four configurations. Onni Rainio races the World Cup downhill circuit on the bike named after him.

The industry downturn hit. We restructured and refocused on one question: how to make the right bike for each rider.

Everything we learned, in one bespoke platform. Built to order, every dimension tailored.
Judge the bike for yourself.
We publish the geometry, weights and tolerances because riders should be able to judge the bike for themselves. If we claim a result, we name who rode it.

Leo designs the frame and suspension, checks the structure with FEA and tests the bike on the trail. He also designed the Evolink, Machine and Onni.
